I joined Pragma at the end of August as a Senior Analyst in the Strategy & Consumer division.  Having worked for large retailers since graduating, I was relishing a new challenge and the opportunity to work in consulting at a firm specialising in retail and consumer markets. Previously, at Debenhams and John Lewis, I had worked in roles across retail management, strategy and ecommerce customer experience, building a varied experience in the retail sector, and I was to looking forward to developing my knowledge further.

The structured induction training I received introduced me to Pragma and how it operates, and within two weeks I was placed onto a project. I have enjoyed the variety that comes with project work, and how it allows you to build an understanding across multiple sectors and business models. Every project is different, with a different business question, that needs to be answered with a different approach, which makes consulting both intellectually challenging and rewarding. Reflecting on my time so far, it has gone incredibly quickly and I have learnt a great amount in the short time I have been here.

Everyone has been welcoming and made me feel like part of the team from the outset, and I look forward to continuing my time at Pragma.
